Scandic has published a press release about the collaboration between Aguardio and Hotel Scandic in Vejle.
By using the Aguardio solution, Scandic wants to help hotel guests reduce their water consumption during the shower. This is done through innovative technology and nudging. The collaboration is part of Scandic’s focus on offering sustainable hotel experiences. The hotel chain looks with interest on the results of the collaboration to evaluate if the solution should be installed at Scandic’s 25 Danish hotels.
About the collaboration, Scandic’s Communications Manager, Daniel Kirchhoff, said the following:
“We are really pleased with the new collaboration with Aguardio, which can contribute to reducing water consumption. However, it is still up to the individual guest to determine the length of the shower and how much water is used, which is important for us. At Scandic we have a business-driven approach to our work on sustainability. That is, we look at initiatives that create value all around. This specific initiative benefits the environment and reduces our costs. A win-win situation.”
