Currently, Aguardio only sells to business customers – sensors can be purchased directly from Aguardio or via our trusted network of distributors. Sale to private individuals is something Aguardio hopes to make possible in the future. If you wish to be added to the waiting list, please send us your request along with your name and e-mail address to hello@aguardio.com.
As a business owner or representative, you can purchase our sensors through our network of distributors: click on this link https://aguardio.com/ and scroll down to find “Selected distributors” listed by country). In Denmark, you can purchase our Pipe (Leak) Sensor from Brødrene Dahl stores (please note – only the variant with sound alert and no data connection). If there is no distributor in your region, please send us an email at hello@aguardio.com.
You can order our products by emailing us at hello@aguardio.com. Shipping costs vary based on the volume and destination of your order. We will provide specific shipping details once you contact us with more information at the email address mentioned above.
No, data from the sensors is collected via Aguardio’s APP using Bluetooth connection. However, Internet access or mobile connectivity is needed for the APP to operate optimally.
Data from the sensors is transmitted via Bluetooth, using Aguardio’s App or other Bluetooth interfaces (e.g. a gateway). Aguardio Pipe Sensors are compatible with HPE Aruba Networking Access Points.
The Aguardio App is available on Google Play and App Store via the following links.

FAQ about Aguardio Shower Sensor
The Shower Sensor has a retail price of approx. 130 EUR with 3 years of data subscription included. Bulk discounts apply. Please contact us at hello@aguardio.com for a more detailed price information.
Shower Sensor measures shower duration, water running time and water pauses, using four factors: Movement, acoustics, room temperature and humidity.
Download data sheet here: https://aguardio.com/downloads/
The sensor’s MAC address is located on the back of the product box. If you don’t have the box, you can find it by following these steps: download a QR reader app, remove the Shower Sensor from its bracket and scan the QR code on the sensor’s display. Ensure that the Shower Sensor is synchronized with the Aguardio app before removing it from the back plate to prevent data loss.
Download Placement Guide here: https://aguardio.com/downloads/
There is no camera in the Shower Sensor.
Please contact us at support@aguardio.com.
Gently wipe the sensor when necessary, using all-purpose cleaner and water sparingly. Limescale build-up on the front of the white plastic frame can interfere with the sensor’s ability to detect showers.
Changing the battery is simple.

You will need a T8 screwdriver.
FAQ about Aguardio Pipe Sensor (formerly referred to as Leak Sensor)
The Pipe Sensor has a retail price of approx. 80 EUR with 3 years of data subscription included. Bulk discounts apply. Please contact us at hello@aguardio.com for a more detailed price information.
The sensor does not have to be tied too tightly to the pipe, it only needs to be secure enough to ensure that the sensor’s grey thermal pad is touching the pipe surface. For detailed instructions on the placement of the sensor, please see our placement guides & videos here: https://aguardio.com/downloads/
No, once the Pipe Sensor is activated, it is permanently activated. It can, however, be moved to another location if needed. Please contact support@aguardio.com if you need assistance or have more questions.
The Pipe Sensor’s side button has two functions – it activates the Sensor and it resets the Sensor depending on how long you press the side button. When you press and hold the side button for about 10 seconds, this restarts and activates the Sensor. Stand-alone sensors and sensors connectable to the app, will beep when this is done. Sensors connected to a Gateway do not. Read more about this in the Pipe (Leak) Sensor’s placement guide here: https://aguardio.com/downloads/
The Pipe Sensor will only beep if you have the stand-alone version with no data connection. If you have a connected version, information on leaks is available via Aguardio HUB platform.
We reccomend connecting the sensor to heat-conductive materials such as metal (e.g. copper or steel pipework) for optimal sensor performance. While it is possible to place a sensor on plastic pipework, the reading accuracy may be affected.
This is because plastic can have an insulating effect, which affects the sensitivity to temperature fluctuations and potentially leads to less precise measurements.

Gently wipe the sensor with a cloth when necessary, using all-purpose cleaner and water sparingly.

FAQ about Aguardio APP
You can find the guide using this link: https://aguardio.com/downloads/
The App is available on Google Play and App Store via the following links.
Google play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.moviot.aguardio&hl=da&gl=US&pli=1;
Apple App store: https://apps.apple.com/ie/app/aguardio-connected-solutions/id1598330434;
Yes, you have to open the app every time you want to collect data.
Yes, in order to collect data you have to be connected to the internet.
Data can be gathered in intervals anytime from hourly to bi-weekly, and even up to every four weeks, depending on the sensor. The Pipe Sensor is capable of retaining collected data for a maximum of 14 days. When storage capacity is full, collection of new data is suspended until the storage is cleared. The Shower Sensor operates under the same principle, but offers an extended data retention period of up to 20 days depending on the showering activities recorded.
Yes. Aguardio Gateway and HPE Aruba Networking Access Points (Compatible only with the Pipe Sensor).
The last four digits are the last digits of the Pipe/Shower Sensor’s MAC address and it is unique for each sensor. It is helpful when a sensor has to be identified.
Red: Unable to connect. This may occur if, for example, you have moved away from a sensor that previously had a good connection to the App.
Yellow: Bluetooth connection was established, but data was lost somewhere between the sensor and the cloud.
Green: Upload was successful.
To learn more what to do in these different situations, please see the Aguardio APP guide via this link: https://aguardio.com/downloads/
If the app cannot locate your Aguardio Sensors, please ensure that you are within a minimum range of 5-10 meters from the sensors. Move objects that may interrupt the Bluetooth connection (e.g. open the doors). Try to increase the Bluetooth range to -85 dBm in the app.
Ensure that your device has been marked as “Gateway” in the app, and that Bluetooth is switched on. Make sure your Pipe Sensors have the right software.
If the sensors are still not visible, please contact Aguardio Support at support@aguardio.com.
Android devices: When the data is successfully sent, the app, will show a green dot next to each Leak Sensor and status “OK.”
Apple devices: When the data is successfully sent, the app will show a green dot next to each Leak Sensor and a timestamp indicating the last synchronization of data, referred to as “Last sync.”
Data is available immediately after collecting data via Aguardio App.
This feature is not available at the moment. The APP is only used to transmit data from the sensor to the cloud.
By selecting a dBm value in the app, you define the range within which the app searches for sensors. If you have installed many sensors, we recommend setting the app to -75 or -85 dBm. Once the data from the nearest sensors is collected, gradually increase the dBm value to detect sensors installed further away.
A low dBm value indicates a stronger signal, leading to a more efficient and quick data retrieval. A signal between 0 to -85 dBm is considered to be strong. Between -85 and -95 dBm, it can be difficult in some cases to collect data. Above -95dBm, it is most likely not possible. If you set the app to -128 dBm, it will detect all sensors within the Bluetooth range. If you have many sensors installed, this can overload the app, causing difficulties in establishing connections with the sensors.
Please use the standard credentials provided by Aguardio.
