Aguardio sensors are installed non-intrusively across a building’s key systems. They collect data continuously and establish usage baselines automatically, making deviations easy to identify and act on.

Water Pipes

Monitor flow patterns, pressure variations, and temperature levels across the pipe network. Anomalies — including micro-leaks and unexpected activity — are detected automatically against established baselines.

Showers

Measure usage duration, frequency, and temperature across individual units, floors, or entire buildings. Data covers consumption patterns that standard metering cannot provide.

Toilets

Aguardio includes the world’s first toilet data-rating system based on leak probability. Between 8–20% of toilets in a building are typically leaking at any given time. Sensors detect phantom flushes, slow leaks, and irregular valve behaviour, and classify each unit’s leak risk automatically.

Heat Pipes & Heating Systems

Monitor temperature and flow across heating circuits, radiators, and district heating connections. Identify imbalances between zones, detect underperforming radiators, and collect the data required for commissioning or re-balancing. Integration with HPE Aruba and NB-IoT / LTE-M

Aguardio connects quickly into the infrastructure already in place.
Sensors connect to established enterprise networks and low-power wide-area networks, making deployment straightforward in both new and existing buildings.

HPE Aruba Networking

Aguardio integrates directly with HPE Aruba networking infrastructure, using existing Wi-Fi or IoT access points already installed in the building. No separate network infrastructure is required. Data is transmitted securely from sensors through Aruba’s network to the Aguardio platform.

NB-IoT / LTE-M

Where network coverage is limited — or sensors are placed in basements, plant rooms, or service shafts — Aguardio supports NB-IoT and LTE-M connectivity. Both are low-power wide-area network standards designed for IoT deployments, with reliable coverage in locations where Wi-Fi is not available.

Aguardio App

Aguardio sensors are battery-powered and require no drilling, pipe cutting, or system downtime. A single technician can instrument an entire building in one visit. Sensors self-configure and begin transmitting data immediately after installation.

Sensor data is structured and API-accessible, making it straightforward to feed into building management systems (BMS), smart metering platforms, digital twin tools, or AI-based energy management systems.
